‘Maharani 4’ Trailer Out: Bharti Devi Takes Her Political Battle to Delhi

New Delhi | Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi is back to dominate the OTT space with the much-awaited political drama ‘Maharani 4’, whose gripping trailer dropped on social media on Tuesday. The latest season promises even more political intrigue, high-stakes drama, and power struggles — with Bharti Devi now eyeing the nation’s top chair in Delhi.

The trailer opens with Bharti Devi, no longer alone in her political fight, but surrounded by her family, including her son and daughter. Actress Shweta Basu Prasad joins the series as Bharti Devi’s daughter, determined to carry forward her mother’s political legacy. However, this season shifts the battleground from Bihar to Delhi, where Bharti Devi takes on the challenge of becoming the Prime Minister of India.

Adding to the drama, Bharti Devi faces a new crisis when she is implicated in a decade-old case. How she fights to clear her name and reclaim her political destiny forms the heart of the narrative.

‘Maharani 4’ is set to stream on SonyLIV from November 7, strategically coinciding with the Bihar Assembly elections — the first phase of which is scheduled for November 6. Since the series has always mirrored Bihar’s political landscape, its timing could draw heightened public attention.

The earlier three seasons of Maharani were widely appreciated for their compelling storytelling and Qureshi’s powerful portrayal of Bharti Devi — a woman navigating the male-dominated corridors of power.

This time, the political chessboard extends beyond Bihar, as Bharti Devi’s own family becomes part of the power struggle. Her son aspires to become the next Chief Minister of Bihar, setting up an internal battle within the dynasty itself.

The new season features an ensemble cast including Shweta Basu Prasad, Pramod Pathak, Shardul Bhardwaj, Amit Sial, Kani Kusruti, and Vineet Kumar, alongside Qureshi.

With Maharani 4, the series promises to take the saga of ambition, betrayal, and resilience to an even grander scale — this time, all the way to the capital’s throne.
